Estate Planning

It is difficult to believe, but nonetheless true, that after a lifetime of hard work many taxpayers are prepared to leave almost half of their estates to the Inland Revenue.

It is, very often, difficult for many people to face decisions concerning the end of their lives and, as a consequence, do nothing to plan for Inheritance Tax and thereby defeat the final claim upon them by the Inland Revenue.

Through a sensitive and careful approach we have been able to help many taxpayers plan for Inheritance Tax through the use of the legislation written in to the tax laws.

The cliché, "Inheritance Tax is a voluntary tax, payable by the selfish" is true in the extreme and we believe that it is possible to make the required provision for devolving wealth through planning whilst retaining financial independence.

We are pleased to act in concert with clients’ own Solicitors during the consultation period prior to drafting Wills in order to ensure that full advantages are taken of exemptions and relief in respect of this pernicious tax.

We respectfully urge taxpayers to take advantage of the tax legislation available in order to mitigate their potential Inheritance Tax liabilities and we firmly believe in defeating the Inland Revenue in this final coup de gras against taxpayers.

The principles need not be complicated and we should be pleased to discuss matters further with suggestions that are dedicated to your aspirations and requirements.
